Odin’s Caw are agreeable and intelligent creatures, allegedly descendants of Odin’s raven companions.
At first I was unsure as to whether this was a Caw or just a local raven. He looked like any other raven except for a white mark above the right eye. But as I started to sketch, he adjusted on his branch as if posing for me. When I rose to leave, he lighted on my shoulder for the remainder of my walk out of the wood. I’m going back with elderberry tomorrow.

This specimen has been mounted on a 1/8" brass rod with mounting décor as shown in the photo. The wood base is painted flat black and topped by a real glass globe as seen in the photos.
A Mortimer & Gaunt raven-inspired fantasy creature skull displayed beneath real glass. Odin's Caw is a natural fit for raven collections, Norse folklore displays, cabinets of curiosities, and dark natural-history shelves that need a distinctly avian specimen.
